Interaction Trends
A timeline chart of conversation activity over time.
The Interaction Trends card shows how conversation activity changes over time, helping you spot patterns, spikes, and long-term trends.
Grouping Options
Use the grouping selector to view the data from different angles:
- Intent -- see which conversation intents are most common over time
- Sentiment -- track how positive, neutral, and negative sentiment shifts
- Resolution -- monitor resolved, escalated, and unresolved outcomes
Chart Styles
Switch between three chart styles:
- Area chart -- filled areas that make it easy to see overall volume and composition
- Bar chart -- grouped bars for comparing categories side by side
- Line chart -- simple lines for tracking trends without visual clutter
How to Use This
- Look for recurring spikes -- they may correspond to product launches, marketing campaigns, or seasonal patterns.
- A sustained upward trend in volume means your companion is getting more use, which is a good sign.
- If you see sentiment shifting negative over time, investigate with User Friction and Failure Analysis.
- The time grouping on the horizontal axis adjusts automatically based on your selected date range.
