What is Aura?

A quick introduction to Aura — the AI companion platform by ZippiAi — and what you can do with it.

Meet Aura

Aura is an AI companion platform built by ZippiAi. It lets you build, discover, and chat with AI companions — intelligent chat agents that can answer questions, have conversations, and help with all sorts of tasks.

Think of a companion as a smart, always-available chat partner. Creators build them and shape their personality, knowledge, and behavior. Explorers find ones they like and start chatting right away.

What are companions?

Companions are AI-powered chat agents. Each one is unique — built by a creator who decides what it knows, how it talks, and what it's good at. Some companions are experts on specific topics, others are great at general conversation, and some are designed for very specific tasks.

You don't need to know anything about AI to use them. Just open a companion and start typing.

Two ways to use Aura

When you sign up, you'll pick one of two modes. Don't worry — you can switch anytime.

Creator Mode

Creator Mode is for people who want to build and manage their own companions. You get access to a full workspace where you can:

  • Create companions and customize their profile, personality, and instructions
  • Upload documents, videos, and other resources to train them
  • View a dashboard with performance stats and analytics
  • See detailed insights into how people interact with your companions
  • Manage your subscription, credits, and billing through your wallet

Explore Mode

Explore Mode is for people who want to discover and chat with companions that others have built. It's completely free and gives you:

  • An Explore page to browse and discover companions
  • The ability to save companions to collections so you can find them easily later
  • A chat history timeline so you can pick up conversations where you left off
  • Full access to chat with any public companion

Not sure which mode is right for you? Read Choosing Your Mode for a detailed comparison.
