Audience Journey
Understand where your conversations fall in the customer lifecycle.
The Audience Journey card maps your conversations to stages in the customer lifecycle, showing you what role your companion plays most often.
Lifecycle Stages
| Stage | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Pre-sale | Visitors exploring your product or service before buying |
| Onboarding | New users getting set up and learning the basics |
| Active Use | Existing users asking questions during regular usage |
| Troubleshooting | Users experiencing problems and looking for fixes |
| Renewal | Users in the renewal or retention phase |
Chart Views
Toggle between two chart styles using the view buttons:
- Area chart -- shows how lifecycle stages trend over time with filled areas
- Bar chart -- shows the same data as grouped bars for easier comparison between stages
How to Use This
- If most conversations are in Troubleshooting, your companion may be functioning primarily as a support tool. Consider adding more proactive guides for common issues.
- A strong Pre-sale presence means your companion is actively influencing purchase decisions -- check Sales Signals for conversion opportunities.
- Onboarding heavy traffic suggests your getting-started content is being used well, but also that new users may need more self-service resources.
