Deleting a Companion
How to permanently remove a companion you no longer need.
If you no longer need a companion, you can delete it. But please be careful -- this action cannot be undone.
How to Delete
- Go to your Home page
- Find the companion card you want to remove
- Click the options menu (the gear icon) on the card
- Select Delete
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking "Are you sure you want to delete?"
- Click Confirm to permanently delete the companion
Deleting a companion is permanent and irreversible. All of the companion's data will be removed, including:
- All settings (name, personality, voice, skills, etc.)
- All uploaded resources (documents, videos, images)
- All knowledge sections and links
- All conversation history
- All analytics and insights data
There is no way to recover a deleted companion. If you are unsure, consider making it private instead -- that way it is hidden from the public but you can always bring it back.
