Shared Resource Viewer
View a publicly shared document or resource.
The Shared Resource Viewer lets you view a document or resource that a creator has made publicly available. When someone shares a resource link, this is the page you'll land on.
What you'll see
Depending on the type of resource, the viewer displays:
- Documents -- rendered text content from uploaded PDFs, Word files, and other document formats
- Images -- displayed at full resolution with zoom capabilities
- Videos -- a video player with playback controls
Who can see it
Shared resource links are accessible to anyone with the link. You don't need an Aura account to view shared resources.
Limitations
As a viewer, you can read and view the content but you can't:
- Edit the resource
- Download the original file
- See the companion it's attached to (unless the creator has linked it)
The resource owner controls whether a resource is publicly shared or private.
