Sounds

The short audio cues Aura plays as you use the platform.

Aura plays a handful of subtle sound effects to confirm certain actions and events — the kind of audio feedback you'd expect from a polished app, rather than anything you need to configure.

Where you'll hear them

  • Toasts — Each toast notification plays a short chime matching its type: a light blip for success, and slightly more attention-grabbing tones for errors, warnings, and info messages.
  • Notification bell — When a new notification arrives while the notification panel is tracking your unread count, the bell plays a soft chime.
  • Sending a chat message — A brief confirmation sound plays when your message is sent.
  • Dropping an image onto the chat input — Dragging and dropping an image to attach it plays a small pop sound as it lands.
  • Deleting things — Deleting a notification (single or in bulk) plays a short "miss" sound to acknowledge the removal.

There's currently no setting to mute these sounds globally. The only mute controls in Aura are for your own microphone or a companion's voice during a live call — those are unrelated to these interface sound effects.
