Links

Add external links your companion can reference and share.

The Links section lets you add external URLs that your companion can reference and share during conversations. When a user asks about something that has a relevant link, the companion can include it in its response.

Just like Knowledge sections, links are organized into sections (categories). Each section contains individual link items.

For example, you might have a section called "Support" containing links to your help center, contact page, and FAQ, and another section called "Products" with links to your product pages.

Managing Sections

  1. Click the Add button in the Links header
  2. A modal opens where you can:
    • Add a link to an existing section (choose from the dropdown)
    • Create a new section by typing a new section name
  3. Fill in the link details:
    • Type -- The category of link (e.g., website, support, documentation)
    • Label -- A friendly name for the link (e.g., "Help Center", "Product page")
    • URL -- The full web address (e.g., https://example.com/help)
  4. Click Create

If you have multiple sections, they appear as tabs at the top of the Links card. Click a tab to switch between sections. Click the pencil icon on a tab to rename or delete that section.

Removing a Section

Click the pencil icon on the section tab and choose the delete option. This removes the section and all links within it.

Click the edit button on any link item to open the editor. Update the type, label, or URL, then save.

Click the remove button on any link to delete it from the section.

Links can be rearranged by dragging, just like Knowledge items:

  • Reorder within a section -- Drag a link to a new position. A ghost preview shows exactly where it will land when you drop it.
  • Move to another section -- Drag a link onto a different section tab to move it there.
  • Move several at once -- Select multiple links, then drag any one of them to move the whole group together.

Tick the checkbox on each link, or drag across the cards to draw a selection box. A toolbar then lets you Select All, Move to another section, or Delete the selected links in bulk.

Use the Type filter to show only links of a certain type, the grid / list toggle to change the layout, and the search box to find links by label, URL, or type.

When your companion shares a link during a conversation, it appears as a clickable element that users can tap to open in a new browser tab. The companion will naturally weave links into its responses when they are relevant to the user's question.

Links are different from Resources. Links are URLs that the companion can share with users. Resources are files that the companion reads and learns from. Use links for external pages you want users to visit, and resources for content you want the companion to internalize.
