Geographic Distribution
Where your visitors are located around the world.
The Geographic Distribution card shows you where in the world your visitors are coming from. It aggregates location data across all your companions so you can see your global reach at a glance.
What you see
World map
A heatmap overlaid on a world map highlights the countries where your visitors are located. Darker shading means more visitors from that region.
Location leaderboard
Below the map, a ranked list shows your top countries and regions by visitor count. This gives you exact numbers to go with the visual overview.
Why this matters
- Localization decisions. If a significant portion of your visitors come from non-English-speaking countries, it may be worth creating companions that speak their language or adjusting your content for those regions.
- Business expansion. Seeing unexpected traffic from a region you haven't targeted could signal organic demand worth exploring.
- Time zone awareness. Knowing where your visitors are helps you understand when your peak hours are and whether your companions need to handle different cultural contexts.
- Compliance considerations. Certain regions have specific data handling requirements. Knowing where your visitors are helps you stay informed about your obligations.
Location data is determined automatically from visitor sessions. No configuration is needed on your part.
