What devices and operating systems your visitors are using across all companions.
The Device Analytics card shows you what hardware and software your visitors are using when they interact with your companions. This data is aggregated across your entire organization.
Two views
You can toggle between two breakdowns using the tabs at the top of the card.
Devices
Shows the split between:
- Desktop — laptops and desktop computers
- Mobile — smartphones
- Tablet — iPads and other tablets
Systems
Shows the operating system breakdown, such as:
- Windows
- macOS
- iOS
- Android
- Linux
- Other systems
A visual chart displays the distribution so you can see the balance at a glance.
Why this matters
- If most of your visitors are on mobile, make sure your companion experiences are optimized for smaller screens and touch interactions.
- A heavy desktop audience might mean your companions are used more in work settings, which could influence the tone and depth of responses.
- Knowing the OS split helps if you ever need to troubleshoot platform-specific issues visitors report.
