Storage

How much storage your companions' uploaded resources are using.

The Storage card shows a donut breakdown of storage used against your limit.

What you see

  • A donut chart of storage used, broken down by resource type: Document, Video, Image, Recordings, Avatars & branding, and Other, plus the unused Free portion.
  • The used percentage and a body message once you're over your limit: uploads will start failing until you free up space or raise the ceiling.
  • If the typed breakdown doesn't fully reconcile with the total used counter, the difference shows as unaccounted-for space rather than being silently dropped.

Per-companion storage ceilings are now fixed at 1GB regardless of plan — the plan instead governs your organization-wide total. The full accounting model is covered separately in the Billing section of these docs.

How to use this

  • Use the type breakdown to find what's actually filling your storage — video and document resources tend to be the biggest consumers.
  • On the org-wide Dashboard, check Companion Performance to see which companion is using the most storage before you start deleting resources.
  • Delete unused or outdated resources from a companion's Resources tab to reclaim space — deletions free up storage immediately.
