Credits

Your available credit balance and how it breaks down.

Shown on the org-wide Dashboard only, as part of the same billing card described in Subscription. Companion Insights doesn't show a credits/billing card — only Credit Consumption at the per-companion level.

Your credit balance sits at the top of the Usage tab, broken down by where the credits came from.

What you see

  • A large balance figure — credits available right now.
  • A donut/legend breakdown by source: Plan (from your subscription), Top-up (purchased separately), Bonus (promotions), Refund, and Trial credits.
  • Reserved balance — credits already committed to in-progress work, called out separately from your spendable total.
  • An outstanding amount if your balance has gone negative, recovered automatically at your next top-up or renewal.

What consumes credits

Every unit of work your companions do draws from this balance — conversation messages, and processing uploaded documents, videos, or images, plus any other request types that fall under an "Others" bucket. See Credit Consumption for the breakdown by activity type over time.

The full credits and billing model is covered separately in the Billing section of these docs.

How to use this

  • Check the balance breakdown before assuming you're low on credits — a low headline balance with a large Plan allocation about to renew is a different situation than actually running low with no renewal in sight.
  • If reserved is unusually high, it means a lot of work is currently in flight — your realistically spendable balance is lower than the headline number.
