Voice & Language
Pick a voice and set the default language.
The Voice & Language section lets you choose which voice your companion uses when speaking and what language it defaults to.
Choosing a Voice
Aura offers 10 different voices, each with its own character and tone. The voices are displayed as clickable chips -- the selected voice is highlighted in indigo.
| Voice Name | Listen |
|---|---|
| Nova | The default voice -- clear and natural |
| Drift | Calm and steady |
| Aero | Light and bright |
| Glide | Smooth and relaxed |
| Lume | Soft and warm |
| Pulse | Energetic and direct |
| Ray | Crisp and clear |
| Rush | Fast-paced and confident |
| Surge | Bold and dynamic |
| Volt | Strong and assertive |
Previewing a Voice
Each voice chip has a small play button. Click it to hear a sample of that voice. Click the pause button (or play a different voice) to stop the preview. This lets you audition each voice before committing.
Selecting a Voice
Click anywhere on the voice chip (not just the play button) to select it as your companion's voice. The chip will highlight to show it is active.
Default Language
Below the voice selection, you will find a Language dropdown. This sets the default language your companion will use in conversations.
The dropdown includes a wide range of languages. Choose the one that matches your primary audience.
The default language setting determines which language the companion starts conversations in. If you have the Multilingual skill enabled, users can still switch languages during a chat.
