Credit Consumption
A timeline chart of credit usage broken down by activity type.
The Credit Consumption card shows a timeline chart of how your companion is spending credits over time, broken down by the type of activity that consumed them.
Activity Types
Each activity type is shown in a different color on the chart:
| Activity | What It Covers |
|---|---|
| Chat | Credits used for conversation responses |
| Document Processing | Credits used when processing uploaded documents into knowledge |
| Video Processing | Credits used when processing uploaded videos |
| Image Processing | Credits used when processing uploaded images |
Chart Styles
Switch between three chart styles using the view buttons:
- Area chart -- filled areas showing volume and composition over time
- Bar chart -- grouped bars for comparing activity types side by side
- Line chart -- simple lines for tracking trends
The chart automatically adjusts its time grouping (hourly, daily, weekly, etc.) based on the date range you have selected in the header.
How to Use This
- A sudden spike in credits usually corresponds to uploading new resources (document, video, or image processing) or a surge in chat activity.
- If chat credits are consistently high, your companion is seeing heavy use -- make sure your credit balance is sufficient.
- Processing credits are typically one-time costs incurred when you upload or update resources. They should not recur unless you are frequently changing your content.
