Quick Start Prompts
Use suggested prompts to jump right into a conversation.
Quick start prompts are pre-written conversation starters that appear on the chat screen. They're a fast way to begin interacting with a companion without having to think of what to say first.
What they are
Quick start prompts are set by the creator when they build the companion. Each prompt is a short suggestion — like a question or topic — that the companion is designed to handle well. They show up in a grid below the companion's greeting area, labeled "Ask me about".
Where they appear
You'll see quick start prompts when you first open a companion, before the conversation has started. They're displayed as clickable cards arranged in a one- or two-column grid depending on your screen size.
How to use them
Just click any prompt card. It's sent to the companion immediately as if you'd typed it yourself, and the companion starts responding right away. There's nothing else to do — one click and you're chatting.
Not every companion has them
Quick start prompts are optional. If a creator hasn't added any, you simply won't see the "Ask me about" section. In that case, just type your own message to get started.
