Quick Start Prompts

Use suggested prompts to jump right into a conversation.

Quick start prompts are pre-written conversation starters that appear on the chat screen. They're a fast way to begin interacting with a companion without having to think of what to say first.

What they are

Quick start prompts are set by the creator when they build the companion. Each prompt is a short suggestion - like a question or topic - that the companion is designed to handle well.

Where they appear

You'll see quick start prompts just below the companion's greeting, once it's finished revealing, before the conversation has started. They're shown as a single row of compact chips that drifts sideways on its own - every suggestion eventually comes into view, however many a creator has written, without taking up more than one line.

Point at a chip (or, on a phone, touch and hold it) and the row stops moving so it's never a moving target to tap. You can also scroll it by hand at any time, in either direction - it keeps looping rather than stopping at an end.

How to use them

Just click any prompt chip. It's sent to the companion immediately as if you'd typed it yourself, and the companion starts responding right away. There's nothing else to do - one click and you're chatting.

Not every companion has them

Quick start prompts are optional. If a creator hasn't added any, you simply won't see this row at all. In that case, just type your own message to get started.
