Chat in whatever language you prefer.
Every companion replies in the language you use. There is nothing to switch on and no setting to choose - just write or speak in your language, and the companion answers in it.
Switching mid-conversation
You can change language at any point. Send your next message in a different language and the companion follows you from there. Your earlier messages stay exactly as they were - the change only affects what comes next.
You can go back and forth as often as you like.
What stays the same
- Names and identifiers - product names, model numbers, part numbers, error codes and settings are kept exactly as they are written, in every language, so they still match your product and your documents.
- The companion's voice - the creator picks one voice, and it is used whatever language the conversation is in.
Answers are drawn from the creator's uploaded material, which is often written in one language. The companion translates what it finds for you, so you can ask in your own language about a document written in another.
Tips
- If a reply comes back in the wrong language, simply send your next message in the language you want - the companion follows the language of your most recent message.
- Response quality varies by language, since it depends on the underlying AI model. Some languages read more naturally than others.
