Data Collection Form

Some companions ask for a bit of info before chatting.

Certain companions are set up to ask for a small amount of information before the conversation begins. When this happens, you'll see a short form called the Quick Check-in appear as a popup.

What it looks like

The Quick Check-in form has:

  • A heading that says "Quick Check-in"
  • A short message like "Help [companion name] personalize your experience"
  • One or more input fields defined by the creator (for example, your name, role, or a topic you're interested in)
  • A Continue button to submit and start chatting
  • A Cancel option if you'd rather not fill it out

Required vs. optional fields

Some fields are marked as (required) — you must fill these in before you can continue. Optional fields can be left blank if you prefer.

What happens to your answers

The information you provide helps the companion personalize the conversation. For example, if a companion asks for your name, it might use it to greet you throughout the chat. The creator decides what fields to include and how the companion uses that information.

Can I skip it?

You can click Cancel to close the form without filling it in. However, the companion may not start the conversation until the required fields are completed — it depends on how the creator has configured things.
