Visitor Table

Browse all visitors who have interacted with your companion.

The visitor table is the main data view on the Engagement tab. It shows a list of every person who has visited or chatted with your companion, with detailed information about each visitor.

Table columns

Each row in the table represents one visitor and shows:

  • Visitor name -- For signed-in users, their name and avatar. For anonymous visitors, a generated label like "Anonymous Visitor" with initials.
  • Total visits -- How many times this person visited your companion's page.
  • Total chats -- How many conversations they started.
  • Last seen -- When they most recently visited, shown as a relative time (e.g., "2 hours ago" or "3 days ago").
  • First seen -- When they first discovered your companion.
  • Location -- The visitor's city and country, detected from their connection. Shows a map pin icon with the location name.

Sorting

Click any column header to sort the table. Click the same header again to reverse the sort direction. The default sort is by Last seen (newest first), so your most recent visitors appear at the top.

Available sort options:

  • Total visits -- Find your most frequent visitors
  • Total chats -- Find the visitors who chat the most
  • Last seen -- See who visited most recently
  • First seen -- See your earliest visitors

Searching

Type in the search box at the top of the table to filter visitors by name. The search updates as you type (with a short delay so it does not search after every keystroke).

Pagination

The table shows 10 visitors per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom to navigate between pages. The total count of matching visitors is shown alongside the page numbers.

Anonymous vs. signed-in visitors

  • Signed-in visitors show their real name, email, and avatar.
  • Anonymous visitors are people who chatted without creating an account. They are tracked using a browser cookie and show up with a generic avatar and a label like "Anonymous Visitor." Their visit and chat counts are still tracked accurately.

Date range

The visitor table has its own date range selector (separate from the engagement cards above). Click the date button in the table header to change the time period.

Click any row to see a detailed breakdown of that visitor's activity. See Visitor Details for what you will find there.
