User Deep-Dive
Expand any visitor row to see their per-companion activity breakdown.
When you click the expand chevron on a visitor row in the Dashboard's Visitor Insights table, the row expands inline to reveal a per-companion breakdown. The main table stays visible -- the detail appears directly below the clicked row, not in a separate panel or page.
Per-Companion Breakdown
The expanded area shows a sub-table listing every companion this visitor has interacted with. Each row includes:
- Companion -- The companion's name and avatar, with a link to the companion's page.
- Last Chat -- When the visitor's most recent conversation with this companion happened, shown as a relative time.
- Visits -- How many times they visited this specific companion.
- Chats -- How many conversations they had with this companion.
- Avg Rating -- Their average star rating for conversations with this companion.
Sub-Table Features
The per-companion sub-table supports:
- Sorting -- Click any column header to sort by last chat, visit count, chat count, or average rating.
- Search -- A search box to filter companions by name within this visitor's breakdown.
- Pagination -- Shows 5 companions per page with its own pagination controls.
Collapsing the Detail
Click the row again or the chevron to collapse the expanded section. Your search, sort, and page position on the main Visitor Insights table are preserved.
How to Use This
The per-companion breakdown is especially useful for understanding your most engaged visitors:
- Power users -- If someone has interacted with many of your companions, look at which ones they visit most to understand what draws them in.
- Feedback patterns -- If a visitor consistently rates one companion lower than others, that companion might have issues specific to this person's use case.
- Cross-companion journeys -- See whether visitors tend to discover multiple companions or stick with just one.
