User Deep-Dive

Click into any visitor to see their full interaction history.

When you click on a visitor in the Dashboard's Activity Table, the table is replaced with a detailed deep-dive panel showing everything about that person's interactions across all your companions.

What you will see

Visitor identity

The top of the panel shows the visitor's name and avatar (or "Anonymous Visitor" for unauthenticated users), along with their location information if available.

Overview stats

A row of summary cards gives you a quick snapshot:

  • Org Profile Visits -- How many times this person visited your organization's Home page (not a specific companion, but your profile page itself).
  • Companions Visited -- How many of your companions this person interacted with.
  • Total Chats -- The total number of conversations they started across all companions.
  • Last Activity -- When they most recently did anything, shown as a relative time with the exact date below.

Per-companion breakdown table

Below the overview, a table lists every companion this visitor interacted with. Each row shows:

  • Companion name -- The companion's name and avatar, with a link to view that companion
  • Visits -- How many times they visited that specific companion
  • Chats -- How many conversations they had with that companion
  • Messages -- Total messages exchanged with that companion
  • Avg Rating -- Their average rating for conversations with that companion
  • Last Chat -- When their most recent conversation with that companion happened

You can sort this table by any column to see, for example, which of your companions this person chatted with most or rated highest.

How to use this

The User Deep-Dive is especially useful for understanding your most engaged visitors:

  • Power users -- If someone has chatted with many of your companions, they are clearly finding value in what you built. Look at which companions they visit most to understand what draws them in.
  • Feedback patterns -- If a visitor consistently rates one companion lower than others, that companion might have issues specific to this person's use case.
  • Cross-companion journeys -- See whether visitors tend to discover multiple companions or stick with just one.

Going back

Click the back arrow at the top-left of the panel to return to the activity table. Your search, sort, and page position are preserved.

This deep-dive shows activity across all your companions. If you want to see a visitor's details for just one specific companion, use the Visitor Details panel in that companion's Insights instead.
