Personality

Shape how your companion talks and behaves.

The Personality field in the Character section defines the core attitude and character of your companion. Think of it as describing a real person's personality -- this is what shapes every single response your companion gives.

What Is Personality?

Personality is a short description (up to 1,000 characters) of how your companion should think and act. It is different from the communication style (which you set in the Behaviour tab) -- personality is about who the companion is, while style is about how it speaks.

For example: "Patient, friendly guide -- walks through things step by step, keeps it simple, assumes no prior knowledge."

Tips for Writing a Good Personality

  • Be specific about traits (e.g., "patient" vs. just "nice")
  • Mention the domain or expertise (e.g., "knows everything about sneakers")
  • Include how it handles uncertainty (e.g., "admits when it does not know something")
  • Keep it conversational -- you are describing a character, not writing a specification
