Geographic Distribution
Where in the world your conversations are coming from.
The Geographic Distribution card shows a world map and a ranked leaderboard of the countries your sessions come from.
What you see
- Map — a choropleth world map, shaded by relative activity (light for low activity, deep indigo for high). Click a country to select it; the leaderboard highlights the same selection. Zoom and pan with ctrl+scroll or drag — plain scrolling doesn't hijack the page.
- Leaderboard — a ranked, searchable, sortable, paginated table with columns #, Location, Sessions, and Coverage (share of total). Top-3 rows get rank styling.
- Header stats show total Sessions and Regions (distinct countries with at least one session).
Geo data is tracked at country level only — there's no region or city breakdown in this card.
How to use this
- A concentration in one or two countries is worth knowing before you invest in localization, region-specific content, or timezone-aware support coverage.
- Compare against Device Analytics — device mix often varies by region, so a single blended device chart can hide real per-market differences.
- If you support multiple languages, check whether the countries showing the most friction or lowest resolution rates line up with a language your companion handles less well.
