Device Analytics

Which devices and operating systems people use to reach your companion.

The Device Analytics card breaks down sessions by device type and by operating system, so you can see what platforms your audience actually uses.

What you see

Two views, switched with the Devices / Systems toggle:

  • Devices — a donut of device types (desktop, mobile, tablet, and so on), showing the top 4 by volume.
  • Systems — a donut of operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and so on), also top 4 by volume.

Each donut shows a total session count at the center and a legend with per-item share and count below.

How to use this

  • A heavy mobile skew is a strong hint to check how your embedded chat widget or companion page actually renders and behaves on small screens.
  • If a particular OS dominates, it's worth manually testing your companion's chat experience on that platform to catch any rendering or interaction issues you wouldn't otherwise notice.
  • Combine with Geographic Distribution — device mix often varies significantly by region, and a single global "top device" number can hide that.
