The Intelligence section lets you choose the reasoning level behind your companion's responses. This controls how smart and capable the underlying AI is.

The Two Tiers

Nova (Premium)

"Deeper reasoning, richer context, better answers."

Nova is the premium tier that uses a more advanced AI model:

Understands complex, nuanced questions better
Provides more detailed and accurate responses
Handles multi-step reasoning and context switching more effectively
Produces higher-quality, more natural-sounding answers
Access to 10 voices
Fast response speed
Very High performance
4x credit burn per conversation

Spark (Standard)

"Fast and reliable for everyday conversations."

Spark uses a balanced AI model that prioritizes speed and efficiency:

Responds very quickly and reliably
Works well for straightforward questions and common use cases
Uses fewer credits per conversation
Access to 8 voices
Very Fast response speed
High performance
1x credit burn per conversation

How to Change

Go to the Advanced tab
In the Intelligence section, you will see two toggle buttons: Spark and Nova
Click the tier you want — a smooth sliding animation highlights your selection

Nova uses 4x more credits per conversation than Spark. If you are mindful of credit usage, Spark is a good choice for companions that handle simpler, routine interactions. For companions that need expert-level answers, Nova is worth the extra credits.
