Intelligence Tier
Choose between Standard and Premium intelligence for your companion.
The Intelligence section lets you choose the level of reasoning power behind your companion's responses. This is about how smart and capable the underlying AI is.
The Two Tiers
Premium (Default)
"Deeper reasoning, richer context, better answers."
Premium is the default for all new companions. It uses a more advanced AI model that:
- Understands complex, nuanced questions better
- Provides more detailed and accurate responses
- Handles multi-step reasoning and context switching more effectively
- Produces higher-quality, more natural-sounding answers
Standard
"Fast and reliable for everyday conversations."
Standard uses a balanced AI model that:
- Responds quickly and reliably
- Works well for straightforward questions and common use cases
- Uses fewer credits per conversation
How to Change
- Go to the Advanced tab
- In the Intelligence section, click on either Premium or Standard
- The selected tier will highlight with an indigo border and a filled radio button
Premium tier uses more credits per conversation than Standard. If you are mindful of credit usage, Standard is a good choice for companions that handle simpler, more routine interactions. For companions that need to give detailed, expert-level answers, Premium is worth the extra credits.
