Actions & Menus
Every kebab, overflow, and context menu in Aura - what opens it and its full list of entries - in one place.
Aura surfaces per-item and bulk actions through small dropdown menus rather than long toolbars - a ⋮ (kebab) button on a card or row, a Suggestions button next to a text field, or a right-click on a canvas. Each one is documented in depth on the page that owns it; this page exists so you can find the menu you're looking at without knowing which page that is. Entries are listed in the order they appear on screen, and any owner-vs-public or mode-dependent variant is called out.
Companion Profile
Resource kebab menu (⋮)
Where: Data tab → Resources sub-tab, on every resource card/row, in both grid and list view.
Owner (private) mode - 7 entries:
- Open - opens the resource in the viewer panel
- Open in New Tab - opens the resource at its own URL in a new browser tab
- Rename - opens the Rename dialog
- Process / Reprocess - label depends on whether the resource has already been analyzed; same action as the bulk Process button, scoped to this one file
- Delete - deletes the resource, with a confirmation step
- About - opens the Resource Details dialog
- Download - downloads the original file
Public / shared-link (visitor) mode - 3 entries: Open, Open in New Tab, Download. Rename, Process, Delete, and About are not shown.
Full field-level detail for Rename and About lives on Uploading Resources.
"Move to" section menu (Knowledge / Links bulk toolbar)
Where: Data tab → Knowledge or Links sub-tab, in the bulk-selection toolbar that appears once you've selected one or more items (only shown when there's more than one section to move into).
A dropdown listing every other section by name - choosing one moves all selected items into that section. The list is dynamic (it mirrors your current sections), not a fixed set of entries. See Knowledge Sections and Links.
Field "Suggestions" menus
Four text fields in the Persona and Behaviour tabs each have their own Suggestions dropdown offering a Default entry plus 6 (or 5) named presets that replace the field's content when chosen.
Greeting (Greeting Message) - 7 entries: Default, Warm Welcome, Product Ready, Support Focused, Casual Opener, Formal Greeting, Onboarding Invite.
Personality (Personality) - 7 entries: Default, Helpful Guide, Product Expert, Trusted Advisor, Friendly Support, Sales Companion, Onboarding Coach.
Style (voice/communication tone field, Behaviour tab) - 7 entries: Default, Warm & Friendly, Professional & Concise, Energetic & Engaging, Calm & Reassuring, Witty & Clever, Clear & Structured.
Default Reply (fallback-message field, Behaviour tab) - 6 entries: Default, Honest & Helpful, Support Redirect, Warm & Reassuring, Short & Simple, Acknowledge & Help.
Each Suggestions button sits next to a matching Generate (AI) button that opens the AI Generate panel for that same field instead of picking from a fixed list.
Widget placement menu
Where: Widget tab, the Placement dropdown.
2 entries: Bottom-right, Bottom-left - sets which corner of the screen the embedded widget launcher appears in. See Widget.
Companion Lifecycle
Companion Profile Pill menu (header popup)
Where: The persistent profile-completion pill in the profile editor header - click it to expand.
Not a simple item list - it's a full popup showing completion percentage, per-tab progress, and a suggestion carousel. At the bottom of that popup is a single standalone action: Delete Companion, which opens a confirmation dialog before permanently deleting the companion, its chats, resources, and guides.
Guide canvas right-click menu
Where: Guides editor → Graph view, right-click anywhere on the empty canvas.
1 entry: Add Step Here - creates a new step positioned at the click location. Left-clicking elsewhere or opening a node closes the menu.
Add Block menu
Where: Guides editor, the + button on a step (or between steps).
8 entries, one per block type: Message, Image, Video, Question, Action, Section, Document, Link. Question and Action are mutually exclusive and limited to one each per step - once either is placed, the other is disabled with a tooltip explaining why. Full block behavior is on Guide Blocks.
Creator Workspace
CRM manage menu (per-provider card)
Where: Settings → Integrations → CRM section, on a connected provider's card.
Opens a management panel with: status badges (Primary / Token Expired / Connected), Set Primary, Disconnect (with confirmation), Reconnect. See CRM Integrations.
Public profile companion actions (list/table view)
Where: Your public creator profile (owner view), companion grid switched to list/table layout - each row has inline Save/Share/Remove-style actions rather than a single combined kebab; see Companion List for the column layout.
Explore Mode
Companion card - Save popover
Where: The heart/Save button on any companion card (Explore, Collections, Chat History).
A popover menu listing your collections as toggleable rows, plus a + New Collection option at the top that expands an inline create form. Toggling a collection row adds or removes the companion from it immediately - there's no separate confirm step. Guests see a sign-in prompt instead (below). See Saving Companions.
Guest auth prompt popover
Where: Same Save button, when you're signed out.
2 entries: Sign in, Create free account - both lead to the auth flow rather than performing an in-place action.
Platform
Mode Switcher menu
Where: Header, the Creator Mode / Explore Mode switcher.
One entry per available mode (Explore Mode, Creator Mode), each showing an icon, title, and subtitle; the active mode is check-marked. Selecting a different mode switches the whole app into it.
Profile menu
Where: Header, click your avatar.
A single vertically-stacked menu, not a kebab, but structured the same way - sections in order: account header (avatar/name/email), credits summary with a Recharge button, plan summary with a Subscribe / Upgrade / Manage button (label depends on your current plan), then action rows - Account Management (always shown), Wallet and Integrations (Creator Mode only) - and finally Log out. See Profile Menu.
Share Modal - visibility menu
Where: Any Share modal (companion, guide, creator profile), the visibility capsule at the top.
3 entries: Public, Private, None - switches who can access the shared item. See Publishing & Sharing.
Share Modal - expiry editor popover
Where: Share modal → Private → Links tab, the extend-expiry icon on a link.
Not an item list - a small popover with a datetime picker plus two actions: Never expires and Save.
Not a menu, despite the icon
A few controls look like they should be on this page but aren't dropdown/overflow menus in the code, so they're documented as dialogs or inline controls on their owning pages instead:
- Knowledge/Links section pencil icon - opens the rename/delete modal directly, not a menu.
- Preference and Quick Start item pencil/trash icons - separate inline buttons, not a combined menu.
- Private-link and invite row actions (copy, extend expiry, toggle active, resend, revoke, re-invite, delete) - inline icon buttons in the Share modal, not a kebab.
- Notification item actions (mark read/unread, archive/unarchive, delete) - inline icon buttons in the Notification Center, not a kebab.
- Progress tracker row actions (Retry, Cancel, Dismiss, View) - contextual inline buttons per row during upload/processing, not a dropdown.
