Managing Your Companions
View, organize, and manage all the companions you have built.
The lower half of your Creator Profile page displays all your companions in a browsable grid. Visitors see only your public companions, while you (the owner) see all of them - public, private, and unshared.
Companion Cards
Each companion is displayed as a card. Here is what you will find on every card:
Status Indicator
A small colored dot in the top-left corner of each card (visible only to you as the owner):
- Green dot - Public: this companion is listed on Explore and visible to everyone
- Amber dot - Private: not publicly listed, but reachable by anyone with an active private link or email invite
- Rose dot - None: not shared with anyone
Name
The companion's name appears prominently at the top of the card. Clicking the name (as the owner) opens the companion's settings in a new tab.
Avatar
A square image on the left side of the card body. This is the companion's profile picture that you set in the Persona tab.
Description
The companion's "About" text appears to the right of the avatar. It is trimmed to four lines so cards stay a consistent size.
Stats
At the bottom of each card, you will see:
- Chats - the total number of conversations this companion has had (shown in an indigo badge)
- Rating - the average user rating out of 5 (shown with a star icon)
- Last updated - how long ago the companion was last modified (e.g., "3d ago", "2h ago")
Owner actions on the card
As the owner, each card shows a Share icon button, which opens the share modal for that companion - QR code, social sharing, copy link, and a visibility picker to switch between public, private, and none. Clicking the card itself (its name or body) opens the companion's own workspace, where you'll find Test, Settings (the profile editor), and - from inside that workspace - the option to delete the companion. There's no separate options menu on the card itself for those actions.
Save to Collection
Every card has a heart icon. Clicking it lets you (or any signed-in visitor) save the companion to a personal collection for easy access later. If you are not signed in, clicking the heart will prompt you to sign in or create an account.
Visitor vs. Owner View
As the owner, you see all companions with the Share button and status dots described above. You can also toggle Live preview mode using the button on your profile header to see exactly what visitors see - only public companions, no Share button, and no status dots.
Visitors see a simplified version: they can click a card to open the companion's public chat page, share it, or save it to their collection.
Grid and List Views
The toolbar above your companions includes a Grid/List toggle. Grid view shows companions as cards (described above). List view switches to a table with one row per companion.
List view columns
The table has six columns: # (rank/position), Companion (name), Chats, Rating, Updated, and Actions. Click any of the Companion, Chats, Rating, or Updated column headers to sort by that column - clicking the currently active column again reverses the sort direction. The # and Actions columns are not sortable.
Searching and Sorting
Your Creator Profile page includes a toolbar above the grid with:
- A search bar to filter companions by name
- A sort menu to change the order (by last updated, name, sessions, or rating, in ascending or descending order) - in list view, you can also sort by clicking the column headers directly (see above)
- Pagination at the bottom if you have many companions, with a page size selector (50, 100, 150, 200, or 250 per page; 50 by default). Your chosen page size is remembered in your browser and applied automatically the next time you visit.
Empty States
If you have no companions yet (as the owner, with no search filter active), you'll see "No companions yet" with the prompt "Create your first Product companion to get started on Aura.", a New Companion button, and a Take a Tour button that walks you through onboarding.
Visitors to a profile with no public companions instead see "No companions available", with the note that the profile hasn't published any public companions yet and to check back later.
