Storage

See how much storage space your companion's resources are using.

The Storage card shows how much disk space the files you have uploaded to this companion are using.

What counts as storage

Storage is consumed by the files you upload to your companion's Data tab -- things like PDFs, documents, images, and videos. Each file takes up space based on its original file size.

Knowledge sections that you write by hand, links you add, and AI-generated knowledge do not count toward storage.

Reading the card

The card shows:

  • Usage bar -- A visual progress bar showing how much of your storage limit has been used. The bar fills from left to right. It changes color as you approach the limit: indigo when usage is normal, amber when you are above 75%, and red when you are above 90%.
  • Used / Limit -- The exact numbers in a human-readable format (e.g., "124 MB of 500 MB").
  • Remaining -- How much storage you have left before hitting the limit.
  • Percentage ring -- A small circular progress indicator showing the usage percentage at a glance.

What happens at the limit

When you reach your storage limit, you will not be able to upload new files to any of your companions until you either:

  • Delete existing files to free up space
  • Upgrade your plan to get a higher storage allowance

Storage limits are set by your subscription plan and apply across all your companions combined. To see your total account-wide storage, check the Dashboard Usage tab.
