AI Knowledge Generation

If you have uploaded documents or videos as Resources and they have been processed, you can use AI to automatically generate knowledge sections from them. This saves you from having to manually type out every fact.

How It Works

Click the Generate button in the Knowledge section header (the sparkles icon)
A modal opens showing your available topics and processed resources
Select topics -- Choose what subjects you want knowledge generated for
Select resources -- Pick which of your uploaded documents or videos the AI should read
Click Generate to start the process

The AI will read through your selected resources, extract relevant information for the topics you chose, and create new knowledge sections with individual items automatically.

Requirements

The Generate button is only active when you have at least one processed document or video resource. If all your resources are still pending or failed, the button will be disabled with a tooltip explaining why.

Image resources cannot be used for knowledge generation -- only documents and videos that have been fully processed.

Reviewing Generated Content

After generation completes, new knowledge sections appear in the Knowledge area. Each section contains AI-generated items with labels and values.

You should always review the generated content:

Check that the facts are accurate
Edit any items that need refinement
Remove anything that is not relevant
Add missing information the AI may have overlooked

Stopping Generation

If the generation is taking too long or you change your mind, click the Stop button (which replaces the Generate button during processing) to cancel.

Tips

Choose specific, focused topics for better results
The more relevant resources you select, the richer the generated knowledge will be
Generation works best with well-structured documents (like product guides, FAQ documents, or training materials)
You can run generation multiple times with different topic and resource combinations
