Account Suspension
What to do if your account has been suspended.
If your account has been suspended or restricted, you'll see a special page when you try to use Aura instead of the normal interface.
What the suspension page looks like
The page shows:
- The Aura logo at the top
- Your profile picture in a rounded square
- Your email address with a small red dot indicating the restricted status
- The heading "Access Restricted"
- A message explaining that your account is restricted and under review
- A Back to Sign In button that signs you out and returns you to the sign-in page
There are no other navigation options on this page -- the rest of Aura is inaccessible while your account is restricted.
Why accounts get suspended
Accounts may be restricted for reasons such as:
- Violation of the terms of service
- Suspicious or unusual activity detected on the account
- Administrative review following a report
- Billing or payment issues that require attention
How to resolve it
The suspension page advises you to contact support for assistance. Here's what to do:
- Note the email address shown on the suspension page -- this is the account that's affected.
- Send an email to the Aura support team from that email address (or any email you have access to), explaining the situation.
- Include your account email so the team can look into your case.
- Wait for a response -- the team will review your account and let you know the next steps.
If you believe your account was restricted in error, contact support as soon as possible. The team will investigate and restore your access if appropriate.
