Browsing Companions

Search, sort, and discover companions on the Explore page.

The Companions tab is the default view on the Explore page. It shows a grid of companion cards - one for every public companion on Aura.

Searching

Use the search bar in the sticky toolbar to find companions by name or keyword. Results update as you type (with a short delay so things stay smooth). To clear your search, click the x button inside the search bar.

If nothing matches your search, you'll see a friendly "No results found" message with a suggestion to try a different term.

Sorting

To the right of the search bar, you'll find four sort options. Click any of them to reorder the grid instantly:

Sort optionWhat it does
RecentShows the most recently updated companions first. This is the default.
TrendingRanks companions by the number of chat sessions - the most popular ones rise to the top.
Top RatedOrders by average rating, so the highest-rated companions appear first.
A--ZAlphabetical order by name.

The active sort option is highlighted so you always know which one is applied. Next to the sort options, a separate Order control flips the direction (ascending/descending) independently of which sort is selected.

Grid and List Views

Click the view toggle to switch between the card grid and a compact list (table) layout. In list view, companions appear as table rows with columns for Chats, Rating, and Updated - click any column header to sort by that field, and click it again to flip the direction.

Pagination

Companions load 50 at a time by default - you can raise that to 100, 150, 200, or 250 per page. If there are more results than fit on one page, you'll see page numbers at the bottom of the grid. Click any page number, or use the left/right arrows, to navigate between pages. The page scrolls back to the top automatically when you switch pages.
