Notification Types

Every notification in Aura has a type. It controls the color of the dot next to it in the Notification Center, so you can tell what kind of event it's about at a glance - even before you read the title.

Success (green dot)

Something completed or went well.

Examples you might see:

• "Subscription Activated" or "Subscription Renewed"
• "Custom Plan Activated"
• "Credits Added: 500"
• "Assistant Created" or "Assistant Updated"
• "Resource Uploaded"
• "Password Changed" or "Profile Updated"
• "Referral Reward" or "Referral Code Applied"
• "Support Request Submitted"

Info (gray dot)

General, non-urgent information.

Examples you might see:

• "Organization Updated"
• "Assistant Deleted" or "Resources Deleted"
• "Trial Ending Soon" (early heads-up, before the closer warning kicks in)

Warning (amber dot)

Something needs attention, but isn't urgent yet. The dot is drawn slightly larger than usual so it stands out in the list.

Examples you might see:

• "Low Balance Warning"
• "Subscription Cancelled" or "Subscription Ended"
• "Auto-recharge disabled"
• "Subscription Cancellation Scheduled"

Error (red dot)

Something went wrong and likely needs action from you. Like warnings, the dot is drawn slightly larger.

Examples you might see:

• "Subscription Suspended" (payment failure)
• "Free Trial Ended"
• "Chat Analysis Failed"

Promotion (violet dot)

Reserved for special offers and promotional messages from the Aura team, styled with a violet dot to stand out from the rest of your inbox.

Update (global)

Product updates published by the Aura team, titled things like "New update: [the update's title]". These are global notifications - sent to every user at once - and behave a little differently from the rest:

• They can't be deleted or archived
• They can only be marked as read or unread
• They don't show a select checkbox in multi-select mode
