Recharging Credits
Step-by-step guide to purchasing additional credits for your account.
When your plan credits are running low or you need extra capacity, you can purchase additional top-up credits at any time. The conversion rate is simple: $1 = 100 credits.
You must have an active paid subscription to add credits. Free plan users need to upgrade to a paid plan first.
Open the Add Credits Dialog
Click the Add Credits button on your balance card in the Wallet Overview. A dialog will appear where you can choose how much to add.
Enter an Amount
Type the dollar amount you would like to spend, or use one of the preset buttons for quick selection:
- $10 -- 1,000 credits
- $25 -- 2,500 credits
- $50 -- 5,000 credits
- $100 -- 10,000 credits
You can enter any custom amount between $5 (minimum) and $2,000 (maximum). If you type an amount outside that range, you will see an error message.
Review Your Credits
Once you enter a valid amount, a summary card appears showing exactly what you will receive:
- Base credits -- the standard conversion at $1 = 100 credits
- Bonus credits -- if your subscription plan includes a top-up discount, you will see extra bonus credits added automatically. For example, if your plan offers a 20% bonus, a $50 purchase would give you 5,000 base credits plus 1,000 bonus credits for a total of 6,000 credits.
- Total credits -- the combined amount that will be added to your balance
The discount percentage and your plan name are displayed so you know exactly where the bonus comes from.
Complete Payment
Click Pay now to proceed to Stripe's secure checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm the purchase.
Once payment is complete, you will be redirected back to Aura and your new credits will appear in your balance immediately.
Top-Up Discount by Plan
Different subscription tiers offer different bonus percentages on credit top-ups. The higher your plan, the better the bonus. You can see your current discount displayed in the recharge dialog when you enter an amount.
Canceling
You can close the dialog at any time by clicking Cancel or the X button. No charge is made until you complete the Stripe checkout.
