Balance & Credits

Understand your credit balance and where your credits come from.

The Balance card is the large, prominent card at the top of your Wallet Overview. It shows your total available credits in a big, easy-to-read number.

What Are Credits?

Credits are the currency for AI interactions on Aura. Every time someone chats with one of your companions, processes a document, or processes a video, it costs credits. The more complex the interaction, the more credits it uses.

You get credits from several sources, and your balance is the total of all of them combined.

Balance Breakdown

Below your total balance, you will see a breakdown showing where your credits come from:

  • Plan -- credits included with your subscription that renew each billing cycle
  • Top-up -- credits you purchased separately through the Add Credits flow
  • Bonus -- promotional credits, such as those earned from referrals or special offers
  • Refund -- credits returned to your account (e.g., if something went wrong with a transaction)

Each source is shown with a small dot indicator so you can tell at a glance how your balance is composed.

Credits Used

If you have used some of your plan credits during the current billing period, a "Used" indicator appears showing how many plan credits have been consumed so far.

Renewal Date

At the bottom-right of the balance card, you will see when your credits renew (for paid plans) or expire (for free/trial plans). This is the date your plan credits reset for the next billing cycle.

For yearly subscriptions, plan credits still renew monthly -- you get a fresh allocation each month even though you pay once a year.

Add Credits Button

The Add Credits button on the balance card opens the recharge dialog where you can purchase additional credits. See Recharging Credits for the full walkthrough.
