Public Profile Settings

Customize how others see your organization on Aura.

Your public profile is the identity visitors see when they land on your Aura page. You can customize it by clicking the Customize profile button on your Home page, or by navigating to /u/your-handle/customize.

Organization Name

This is the big, bold name displayed at the top of your profile. It could be your company name, your brand, or your personal name -- whatever you want visitors to see.

Bio / Description

A short description that appears right below your name. Use it to explain what you do or what your companions are about. Keep it concise -- visitors will see the first couple of lines at a glance.

Avatar (Profile Picture)

Your avatar is the circular image that overlaps your banner. It appears on your profile, in search results, and anywhere your profile is previewed. To change it:

  1. Click Customize profile on your Home page
  2. Click the camera icon on your current avatar
  3. Choose a new image from your device
  4. Save your changes

The banner is the wide image that stretches across the very top of your profile page. It sets the visual tone for your entire page. If you do not upload a banner, a beautiful default gradient will be used.

To update your banner:

  1. Click Customize profile on your Home page
  2. Click the upload icon on the banner area
  3. Choose a wide, high-quality image
  4. The image editor opens with a fixed 5:1 aspect ratio crop — position the frame over the part of the image you want to use
  5. Click Apply to confirm the crop
  6. Save your changes

The banner is saved as a WebP image (max 5 MB) for fast loading. The 5:1 ratio ensures it looks great across all screen sizes.

To remove an uploaded banner and go back to the default gradient, click the remove option on the banner area.

Your profile changes are not saved until you click the Save button. Make sure to save before leaving the page.
