Aura offers four main plan tiers, each designed for different stages of your companion-building journey. Every plan includes a set of monthly credits, storage, training tokens, and features.
Plan Tiers at a Glance
Free (Tier 0)
The Free plan is a one-time trial that gives you a taste of what Aura can do. It is perfect for trying things out before committing.
- Price: Free (no payment required)
- Credits: A one-time allocation to get you started
- Storage: Limited
- Features: Basic companion creation and chat capabilities
Once you have used the Free plan, it cannot be activated again -- it is a one-time offer per account.
Starter (Tier 1)
The Starter plan is ideal for individuals and small projects. You get a meaningful credit allocation each month and access to core features.
- Monthly credits: Refreshed every billing cycle
- Storage and training tokens: Enough for a handful of companions
- Billing options: Monthly or yearly (with yearly savings)
Growth (Tier 2)
The Growth plan is the most popular choice. It is designed for creators who are actively building multiple companions and need more capacity.
- Monthly credits: A larger allocation than Starter
- Storage and training tokens: Significantly more room for knowledge bases
- Top-up discount: Bonus credits when you purchase top-ups
- Billing options: Monthly or yearly (with yearly savings)
- Additional features: More companion slots, advanced capabilities
Enterprise (Custom)
For organizations with unique requirements, the Enterprise plan offers fully customized pricing and features.

Monthly vs. Yearly Billing
At the top of the Plans page, you can toggle between Monthly and Yearly billing. Choosing yearly billing locks in a lower per-month price and can save you a meaningful percentage compared to paying month by month.
When you toggle to yearly, each plan card updates to show:
- The yearly per-month price
- The total annual cost (e.g., "Billed $XXX yearly")
- A savings badge showing the percentage you save
Features List
Below the pricing on each plan card, you will find a Features section listing everything included with that tier. Features vary by plan and may include items like companion limits, AI model access, storage amounts, and support levels.
Choosing the Right Plan
- Just exploring? Start with the Free plan to try things out at no cost.
- Building your first companion? The Starter plan gives you everything you need to get going.
- Scaling up? Growth is the sweet spot for active creators who need more capacity and better top-up bonuses.
- Large organization? Enterprise gives you full customization and dedicated support.
