Aura AI Assistant

Get instant, page-aware help from the built-in Aura AI assistant — including step-by-step walkthroughs.

Aura AI is a built-in help assistant that lives in the bottom-right corner of the app. Ask it anything about the Aura platform and it answers using the official documentation — and, when you ask, it can walk you through tasks by highlighting the actual buttons and controls on your screen.

Opening the assistant

Look for the Aura mascot button in the bottom-right corner of any page. Click it to open the chat panel (hovering shows a "Chat with Aura AI" label). Click it again, or the close button, to dismiss it.

When you open it for the first time in a session, you'll see a welcome screen with a few Suggested Topics (like "How do I create a companion?") — click one to ask it instantly, or type your own question in the box.

How it answers

Grounded in the docs. Every answer is based on a search of the Aura Help Center, so it won't make up features. When relevant, it links directly to the matching documentation page.
Page-aware. The assistant knows which page you're on and which controls are visible to you. So you can ask things like "what does this button do?" or "how do I do this here?" and get an answer specific to your current screen.
Aura-only. It's focused on the Aura platform. If you ask something unrelated (general coding, trivia, etc.), it will politely let you know and point you back to the docs.

Aura AI is the fastest way to find an answer. If it can't help, you can still reach the team through the Help & Support form.

Quick help vs. Walkthrough

A toggle just above the message box lets you choose how the assistant responds:

Quick help (default) — a short, direct answer in text. Best when you just want to know something fast.
Walkthrough — step-by-step guidance with on-screen highlights. Best when you'd rather be shown than told.

Using a walkthrough

Switch to Walkthrough mode

Toggle the mode to Walkthrough above the input, then ask how to do something on the page you're currently viewing — for example, "Walk me through sharing this companion."

Start the walkthrough

The assistant replies with a short intro and a Start walkthrough button. Click it — the chat panel steps aside and the first relevant control on the page is spotlighted.

Follow the steps

Each step highlights an element with a short explanation, scrolling it into view and (where needed) opening the right panel or menu. Use Next to advance and Skip to exit at any time — the same controls as Aura's Guided Tours.

Walkthroughs guide you through controls on your current page. If the task lives on a different page, or the screen doesn't have a highlightable control for it, the assistant gives you a clear written answer instead (often with a link to the right place).
